MSI and Thrive Solar Energy bring light to 152 Families

The MSI in collaboration with Thrive Solar Energy Pvt.Ltd reached solar lamps to three non-electrified slums in Hyderabad City- Shankeshwar Bazar, Vignanpuri Huts and OU Camp-3. The MSI team created awareness and motivated people on the use of sustainable energy resources like solar energy. People were provided solar lamps at a subsidized rate thanks to sponsors.  The distribution of lamps were done on 18 March, at Shankeshwar Bazar; 22nd March 2016 at Viganpuri Huts; and at OU Camp-3 on 21 April.  152 families that had no electricity connections in their houses are beneficiaries of the program. Linto Emmanual s.g., MSI Project coordinator, Housing Rights Campaign coordinated the program with support from Ms. Hyma an Ms. Padma, field coordinators. Thrive Solar Energy was represented by Ms. Beena John and others.
