Director of MSI, Bro. Varghese Theckanath attended Children’s Parliament at Kandrika, Vijayawada.
Montfort Social Institute been running Education Facilitation Centres at various slums of Vijayawada and Hyderabad. Children attending these Education Facilitation Centres have Children’s Parliament every fortnight, which are aimed to impart democratic values in them. Children discuss social issues ranging from the lack of amenities at slums to national issues in these Parliaments.
