On 16th March 2017, formal Inaugural function of “Gruhakarmikula Union Telangana State” was conducted at Montfort Social Institute. Chief Guest, Mrs. Mary Ravindranath, Ex-Chairman of Andhra Pradesh State’s Women’s Commission , congratulated the Domestic Workers of Telangana on formation of Trade Union and expressed hope that the Trade Union will help them to get united and continue the struggle for their rights as workers.
On this occasion, ID cards were given to the Office bearers of the Trade Union , benefits to the members and Certificates were distributed to the domestic workers who have undergone the vocational training programs organised by MSI.
